Neon Pink Fluorescent Paint

Fluorescent paints are the brightest in existence. Fluorescent colors are widely applicable in custon painting of racing helmets, vehicle wheels, sport bikes and airbrushing. 

Possessing undeniable advantages, such as super-brightness, long-distance visibility, glow of paint in ultraviolet light, there are a number of nuances when working with this material. The disadvantage of fluorescent paints is their low light fastness. Even after being coated with a high UV clear, these paints are susceptible to fading. With constant exposure to direct sunlight, burnout occurs in 6-8 months. Objects covered with this paint require more careful attention from the owner. Avoid as much as possible prolonged exposure to the bright sun, especially in the warm season.

Fluorescent paint is transparent and highly pigmented; during long-term storage, pigments can stick together. Before starting the painting process, it is recommended to drain the paint to prevent the appearance of clots. Fluorescent paint is applied to a white solid base color. With uneven color layering, dark spots may appear. The thicker the applied paint layer, the less the white reflection of the base, and the higher the pigment concentration, the darker the color. It is very important to apply the paint in an even layer; with local adjustments, you risk getting darkening that is difficult to correct.

Fluorescent paint can be mixed with suitable colors of other materials to enhance color brightness and minimize fading. Coating with UV protection clear is mandatory, regardless of whether the fluorescent paint is used alone or mixed with other materials!

When working with fluorescent colors, remember to take breaks and give rest your eyes.
